Chintsu means "scattered small flowers". Although it looks like a simple pattern, it has a long history. Red fruits and gold leaves are elegantly scattered on the dense green color as emphasizing the blank space. The gold line is adding an accent to the pattern. The rim has a K24 finish.

[New Bone China]
A kind of new porcelain developed in Japan in 1961. Unlike Bone China, it contains no cow bone or calcium phosphate. It's molded using a paste made of porcelain clay and feldspar, and oxidization fired at 1230-1250℃. It has a warm, milky-white color similar to Bone China. New Bone China also means a "new-born China".

[Life Theater]
Based on the beautiful, authentic Western antique tableware from the 16-19th centuries, the series is originally and carefully made in Komaki, Aichi. While faithfully keeping the tradition and predecessors' teachings, these are made in Japan and sent from a domestic factory after going through more than 100 processes.

[Handling Precautions]
*Do not use on an open flame.
*Do not use in the oven.
*Do not use in the microwave.
*Do not subject to strong impacts. This may cause damage or injury.
*Do not drag on a tabletop etc. This may cause scratching. Please handle with care.
*Before use,​ thoroughly immerse in hot or room temperature water or boil in the water used to wash rice. This will stop the item from becoming stained easily. Also when serving,​ immerse item in water before use. This will prevent the oil or sauce from staining the surface.
*In order to keep using beautifully for a long time,​ it is recommended that you hand wash.
*When hand washing,​ use a synthetic kitchen detergent and soft sponge or cloth.
*Metal scourers,​ sponges with polishing agents,​ cleansers etc have adverse effects on the item surface so do not use them.
*Porcelain will show stains after repeated use. This can be removed by using common bleach.
*Please take extra care when washing,​ particularly on areas such as the outside and bottom rim,​ where fingerprints show up easily.
*Cracked or chipped items may injure the hand or mouth so do not use them.
*Do not use for any purpose other than its intended one.

*Can be used in the dishwasher.
*In relation to the manufacturing process,​ the color may differ slightly from the photos.
*Porcelain and ceramic are shaped items made with finally ground clay. The densely formed ware is then fired in a kiln. When flicked with the finger you will hear a metallic sound. The sound shows the density and degree of water resistance the ware has. In this since,​ please kindly understand that this similar in nature to glass.
