An oh-so-small miniature tea utensil! Its size is similar to the items found in a children's replica kitchen set yet this is carefully hand-crafted so that you can properly pour in hot water and enjoy a single serving. A copperplate sheet is attached to the whole service and it is then fired at 1300 degrees.
Although this is a tiny miniature item, it requires more nerve and skill to make than regular size items. You can use this as a small interior decoration for your home or use to add a highlight to your dining table. An item that conveys the potter's attention to playfulness and comfort.

[Mino-Yaki]
Pottery produced in the Tono area, Gifu Prefecture. The area has a lot of high-quality clay so pottery has long been produced since the Heian era. It was in the Momoyama era that it flourished because of the tea ceremony typified by Shino and Oribe.
