Taking basic measurements for innerwear

    • • "Top bust" is the fullest part of the bust
      Bra sizes are given as under bust and cup size. The cup size is the top bust minus the under bust. The top bust is measured around the fullest part of the bust. If your bust tends to droop, you will need to use both hands to hold your bust up into the "with bra" position, and have somebody measure round the fullest part.
    • • "Under bust" means directly under the bust
      Measure the under bust directly underneath the bust, holding yourself in a natural posture, without forcing your shoulders back. If your under bust measurement turns out to be between two sizes--say 73--the right bra size will depend on your build, but as a rule, you should then choose the next size up, and fasten the bra on the innermost setting.
    • • Measure your waist at the narrowest part
      The waist size is the basic guideline when choosing a shapewear size. Standing up straight, measure your waist at the narrowest point. Do not stick your stomach out or pull it in.
    • • Measure your hips at the widest part
      Your hip measurement should be taken around the widest part of your hips. If the measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size when ordering a firm-type shapewear.
