The soft sponge presses against the inside of a plastic bottle and thoroughly cleans even tough-to-access spots--without scratching. The springy, folded design of this sponge means it also takes care of marks on the bottom of the bottle, and the mesh that encloses the sponge deals with the corners and edges. The plastic coating on the handle stops it from damaging the opening of the bottle.
