An Iwakawa Hataten original snow pattern tenugui hand towel.
It is said that, if it snows a lot, then there should be a good harvest that year. Doi Toshitsura, called the "snow lord", left behind the first authentic recorded observation designs of snow crystals in Japan, and this item is dyed based on this.

Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, famous for hagiyaki ware and its castle, is a fishing town that faces the Japan Sea. Iwakawa Hataten was established more than 100 years ago. It specializes in the production of flags, curtains and banners, while carefully hand-making original accessories, hand towels, etc, using dyed Tairyobata fabric.
