The seven lucky gods were created based on the Buddhist philosophy of "Shichinan-Shichifuku" (The Seven Misfortunes and the Seven Fortunes). Ebisu (God of Business Success), Bishamonten (God of Good Luck), Daikokuten (God of Prosperity), Benzaiten (God of Relationships), Hotei (God of Contentment and Happiness), Jurojin (God of Longevity), and Fukurokuju (God of Senility Prevention) are aligned grandly.
