Jizo, known as Ksitigarbha, is one of the characters of Buddist mythology. There are some kinds of Jizo such as child-given Jizo and scapegoat Jizo. It has been said that they wish for safety of children, relieve people who had an accident as a scapegoat for their suffering, and remove various fears that people have.
Made by the doll maker "Tsuchida Hakurei" in Kyoto. Painstakingly created one by one. Gentle color usage and pleasant design.
