Traditional hand-crafting techniques are used to create shapes that resemble cherry blossom flowers.
These "Nanbu Kozakura Braid" items are created with the feeling of wishing for earthquake reconstruction and wanting to distribute items from affected areas to the world. Created in the image of the attraction "Rock-Breaking Cherry Tree" in Morioka, a more than 360 year old cherry blossom tree growing out of a granite boulder that still blossoms beautifully today and, evoking the enduring temperament of the Tohoku people, produced over a period of 2 years until completion following repeated trial and error. You are sure to say "this is so cute!" the moment you set eyes upon it.
