The lid and main body are both made of a very heat-resistant new ceramic material (thermal shock temperature difference 700°C), so this won't break in the fridge, microwave, oven, etc. Also, to preserve heat resistance, there are countless pores that cannot be seen. By adsorbing excess moisture that comes out of food, odors are also adsorbed and food is kept fresh, preserving deliciousness. Very handy as it can be stored in the refrigerator and heated in the microwave. Also stops rice from becoming dry.

●Handling Precautions:
・Do not use over an open flame.
・If you store rice for a long time, it will become dry. Therefore, storing for approx. 1 day is recommended.
・As this item absorbs moisture, if you put in food with lots of color (umeboshi, miso pickles, pickled scallion etc), color and smell may adhere.
・Cracked and chipped items may cause injury to the hand, mouth etc., so do not use them.
・Using in an unstable place or high place may cause damage or injury.
・Do not subject to strong impacts.
・This item has been polished. However, do not drag on a table top etc. as this may cause scratching. Take proper care when handling.
・Do not use for anything other than its intended purpose.
[How to use as the ohitsu]
1.Allow cooked rice to cool a little while in the pot.
2.Cover with inner and outer lid and store in the refrigerator as is. (for approx. 2 days)
3.Remove from the refrigerator, and heat in the microwave with the lid on. (approx. 4-5 minutes for 1-go (180g) of rice)
* Heating time differs depending on rice amount.
