Echizen washi paper, with its 1500 years of history, and LED lights are fused together to create this frame that proposes a new way to appreciate art. You can change photos, pictures, etc. printed on washi paper that are held in it. The washi paper hand-made piece by piece by traditional craftsman conveys the warmth of the creator. During the day its texture exudes an elegant aura, while during the night the built-in LED lights create an illuminated space. As it is made so that the LED light passes through the washi paper and lights up both the frame and the picture being held, while fully utilizing the natural texture of washi, two completely different styles are created in the daytime and nighttime.

[Hand-made washi paper - OIZU] After the washi is created, a wide horizontal pattern is made. Light passes easily through the patterned portion of this brown colored washi.

○Regarding the nature of washi paper:
・As washi paper absorbs moisture very easily, shrinkage can occur. When the humidity is high, such as on rainy days or during the rainy season, it may wrinkle, but this is not a defect. Moving to a place with low humidity will improve this. Do not dry by applying hot air directly to it such as using a hairdryer.
・It is very vulnerable to moisture, so do not splash with water and do not store or place in humid places.
